The people put an indelible mark on the Edappal Child Rape case convict.

The Thrithala native Moydheen who was convicted of abusing a 10-year-old child inside a theatre in Edappal has been provided with an indelible mark by the natives. The mark will surely haunt him as he can’t stand with that in his own place even if he is out of the prison.

The jewelry owner and possessor of high political hold, Moydheen cannot use that both in deleting this mark from his life. The people of Thrithala are been hailed in the social media for their bold stand and the innovative way of protest.

The bus stop near Moydheen’s house was previously called Chanthapadi and now the people have taken a unanimous decision to change that to ‘Moydheen Padi’.Usually, there are many streets across Kerala named after a freedom fighter, political martyr or other great personalities. But this one will be the first street in Kerala to be called after a child rapist! Perhaps the first one in India too.

This news has been informed to the outside world by a girl from Thrithala through her FB account. The people of Thrithala have named this stop “Moydheenpadi” in order to pass the story of this unabashed child abuser to the future generation as well as to give a strict warning to the potential child abusers. Maybe the people are of the view that an indelible tattoo of the crime committed in one’s life is the best punishment to make his life a living hell.
