We do work, not on strike : Delhi IAS Association refutes AAP charges

In a Press Conference held by the Delhi IAS Association, Mainisha Saxena said that all the departments were doing their jobs and refuted AAP’s claim that the IAS officers were on strike as ‘ completely false and baseless’.She made clear that they had been attending all the meetings and were doing their work.

Its been more than 6 days that the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues are sitting on an indefinite Dharna inside the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s office accusing that the IAS officers are on strike preventing the government from not implementing the door-to-door delivery of the PDS benefits and also accusing that the centre snatched the powers of all “services” from the elected government of Delhi.

Delhi Transport Commissioner Varsha Joshi asked everyone to let them do their work as they were all feeling ‘frightened’ and ‘victimised’.”We are being used for completely political reasons,” she said.
