Now, e-commerce giant Amazon India is trying to take advantage of strong demand for Xiaomi’s budget devices by selling Redmi 5, Redmi Y2 and Redmi Y1 at attractive discounts. The discounts are not limited to Xiaomi’s smartphones and there are also discounts available on Bluetooth speakers and power banks.

Xiaomi Redmi 5, the entry-level smartphone with the taller display is available at 6 percent discount on Amazon India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999 and Amazon Prime members get an additional 10 percent cashback with EMI on Citibank Credit Cards. Xiaomi Redmi 5 customers can also avail no cost EMI option and Rs 2,200 instant cashback and 100GB additional data from Reliance Jio.
