Congress Leader Asks Their Members to Learn Discipline From RSS, As the Partymen Fights Over a Chair

Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Deepak Babaria told his party members to learn discipline from RSS, after they were involved in a brawl over a chair. This fight over a chair soon escalated into a full-blown row between party workers in Madhya Pradesh and then the top Congress leader in the state had to say what his leadership may not appreciate. “Learn discipline from RSS,” said Deepak Babaria, as in-fighting broke out at an event he attended in Vidisha on Monday. When asked by the media to clarify, Babaria saw no issues with his comments. “Yes, I appreciated the way Pandit Nehru used them during the China war, their discipline. If something is good about any organisation there is no harm in appreciating it,”

Why the Fight Happened?
Babaria had called an organisational meet wherein chairs had been arranged for all functionaries except for Sindhu Vikram Singh Bhawar Bana, a member of the royal family who too wants to be a Congress member and fight in the election later this year from Madhya Pradesh. Bana did not have a chair to sit and this upset Congress leader, Mehmud Kamil, who then complained to a district in-charge. Following this, several party members followed Kamil which later turned into a brawl. All the Congress leaders were seen pushing each other which made Babaria detest the whole event and he ended up advising his party members of following in the footsteps of RSS.

The Madhya Pradesh Congress later suspended six workers and also issued show cause notices to two leaders after the incident. Babaria was also in the news last week when he was manhandled by his own party workers in Rewa, as he named Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia as possible chief ministerial candidates.
