The Lok Sabha today passed ‘Triple Talaq Bill’. The bill was passed after a marathon discussion in the house. 245 members of house supported the bill, 11 members opposed.
The amendments proposed by opposition members were all rejected. All the amendments were put into voting. The Congress, AIDMK, TMC members not participated in the voting. The Congress-led opposition members walkout from the house.
