Facebook will allow transfer of photos, videos to Google Photos

Social media giant Facebook has informed that it has launched a new option to its customers. The new option allows users to transfer photos and videos from Facebook to other services, starting with Google Photos.

At present the option will be available to users in Ireland. The option will be launched worldwide by the first half of 2020.

All data transfers will be encrypted and users will be asked for a password before the transfer is initiated, Facebook informed on a blog.
