At least two people were killed and four others were killed in a blast at a chemical factory. The blast took place in a chemical factory in Bhiwandi in Thane.
The explosion took place in a nitrogen cylinder at the factory. Over 300 labourers work at the factory. Fire brigade and police personnel rushed to the spot and launched firefighting and rescue operations. The injured were taken to a civic-run hospital.
