According to police, a 28-year-old man was killed by a lightning strike in the Sarpataha area of this Uttar Pradesh district on Monday.Chandrashekhar, a resident of Habibpur village, went outside to throw out the garbage on Sunday while it was raining and was struck by lightning, according to Circle Officer (Shahganj) Chob Singh.Singh added that he was later discovered dead by his family members.According to the police, his body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
