Dharma Productions has announced a new release date for its action film “Yodha,” which stars Sidharth Malhotra. The movie is now scheduled to hit theaters on March 15, 2024, marking a three-month delay from its originally planned release date. The decision to postpone “Yodha” was made to avoid a potential box office clash with Sriram Raghavan’s “Merry Christmas,” featuring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, which is set to premiere on December 8.
Dharma Productions officially unveiled the new release date for “Yodha” on their official X page. The announcement teased an exciting cinematic experience, stating, “Hold onto your seats, for you’re about to experience a ride like never before. The runway is set for #Yodha to take off on 15th March, 2024!” The film is directed by the debutant duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. It’s a joint production between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Films.
In addition to Sidharth Malhotra, “Yodha” also features Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. Originally slated for release in July, the film’s postponement aims to maximize its potential at the box office and provide a clear runway for its success, free from any potential clashes with other major releases.
