Indian-American Researcher Discovers: One Week of Lowered Salt Intake Decreases Blood Pressure

In a recent study led by Indian-American researcher Deepak Gupta, it was discovered that reducing sodium intake by just one teaspoon daily can significantly lower blood pressure in a week, equivalent to the impact of common hypertension medication. The research involved participants aged 50 to 75, demonstrating a systolic blood pressure decline of around six millimeters of mercury.
