Mumbai: Yamaha Motor has launched the 2023 YZF R3 and the MT-03 in India. Both motorcycles share the same platform and powertrain. The MT-03 is priced at Rs 4.6 lah (ex-showroom) while the MT-03 comes with a price tag of Rs 4.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can book their motorcycles from Yamaha’s website.
Yamaha is offering the R3 in a choice of two colours – Icon Blue and Yamaha Black while the MT-03 too has two options – Midnight Cyan and Midnight Black.

Both the bikes are powered by 321cc liquid-cooled 4-strone, inline two-cylinder motor. This produces 42bhp and 29.5Nm of torque. Both the motorcycles use a lightweight diamond frame which is suspended between a USD and a monocross rear suspension, with the front offering 130mm of travel and the rear offering 125mm of travel. Braking for both the motorcycles is handled by a 298mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear.
