The engine and the power car of Ranchi-Rajdhani Express derailed on Delhi’s Shivaji Bridge today.
No injuries have been reported. This is the second instance of a train derailment in one day, but luckily no injuries have been reported in either incident.
Seven coaches of the Howrah-Jabalpur-Shaktipunj Express derailed in Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning. All stranded passengers were shifted to non-derailed coaches of the train.
The train was running at a speed of about 40 km/hr which, officials say prevented any injuries when the incident occurred.
