This is the BJP stand on Shiva Sena when they want to break alliance

Shiv Sena had decided to go solo in next year’s Lok Sabha elections. But BJP still wants an association with Shiv Sena.

Finance minister and senior BJP leader of Maharashtra SudhirMungantiwar told: “We will send them a proposal of alliance and sort out the seat-sharing issue.”

He has ruled out the distant possibility of early Lok Sabha and assembly elections. He had said about the assembly and elections that the issues will be over soon.

“Sena has many times taken such decisions and we have resolved the issues. Though seat sharing was the problem last time in the assembly elections, we will solve it this time. We were not aware of our strength. We now have a base for seat sharing. So, we will do the alliance in the Lok Sabha and assembly elections”.

“The Sena is our natural friend and we will never go with the NCP. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, too, wants an alliance with the Sena”, clarified Mr. Mungantiwar.

He also said that they are always in talks with Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray ahead of the elections. “We met him at the time of the GST, farmers’ loan waiver and a few more times,” Mr. Mungantiwar said.

BJP Has realized that they cannot win the elections in Maharashtra without the help of Shiv Sena. This has happened in the wake of Gujarat elections.

Congress has become stronger and NCP has decided to ally with them. Thus BJP has no other option other than to seek Sena’s support. CM Fadnavis and other senior BJP leaders are trying for an alliance. But Sena remains firm in their decision.
