Celebrities’ starting their career with the small screen is a known fact. The biggest examples are Shah Rukh Khan (in Fauji) and Vidya Balan (in Hum Paanch). All these actors made their mark as good actors on various television shows and slowly moved into making Bollywood movies.
R. Madhavan:
“Maddy” started his career with TV serials like Banegi Apni Baat, Ghar Jamai, and Sea Hawks. In 2001, he did a movie named ” Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein” and won many hearts.
Shah Rukh Khan:
SRK started his career with a serial named “Fauji” where he played the character of “Abhimanyu Rai”. In 1992, he got his first break in a movie called “Deewana” in which he was playing a supporting role and after that his career had a big a kick start. He subsequently played villainous roles in Baazigar and Dar. In 1995, he did “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” and that has become the longest running film of all time!
Irrfan Khan:
He acted in serials like Chanakya, Bharat Ki Khoj, Chandrakanta, Banegi Apni Baat, Sara Jahan Hamara and Sparsh.
Aditya Roy Kapoor:
He started his career as a VJ on Channel V. Though his debut movie was London Dreams, his role in Aashiqui 2 gave him a lot of appreciation and he became an overnight star.
Yami Gautam:
Before getting renowned for the movie Vicky Donor” she started her career on the small screen with a serial named “Chand Ke Paar Chalo” and “Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam” with her role as Leher Mathur. This beautiful actress was last seen in ” Kaabil” opposite Hrithik Roshan.
Ayushmann Khurana:
In 2004, AK won the reality show Roadies and that kick-started his career. This multi-talented actor worked as a RJ, a Video Jockey and even as a TV host for a reality show. You name it and he’s done it all. In 2012, he marked his strong presence by debuting in the movie “Vicky Donor”.
Vidya Balan:
She was first seen in Ekta Kapoor’s famous serial “Hum Paanch” where she played Radhika. Before her debut movie, she was also seen in various commercials and music videos as well. She made her debut movie with “Parineeta” and from there she has worked hard to win hearts.
