Tripura Chief Minister seems to be most to make controversial remarks, despite orders from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to not make such comments to his party members.
First, it was the existence of modern science in the Mahabharata era, followed by the needless remark of whether Diana Hayden — an actress and model — deserved to win the Miss World title and whether she or Aishwarya Rai symbolized true ‘Indian beauty’.
The man behind the above controversies- Biplab Kumar Deb the Chief Minister Tripura. Although these controversies are hilarious, the latest one was borderline threatening.
In a video shared by news agency ANI, Deb could be heard drawing a strange analogy to explain why people should let his government be and not ‘poke’ into his administration’s affairs.

With the new comments, Deb has run a full circle of controversial statements — he started with the humorous (in fact, much of Twitter spent the weekend in ‘delight’ have discovered a source that provided a steady stream of amusing remarks) and has now ventured into the dangerous.
The Tripura chief minster’s new statements seem to be directed at those who criticise his government. They also seem to border on the threatening.
Deb, it must be noted, comes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party. The same Modi who has previously asserted that his government welcomes criticism – as long as it is not in the form of baseless allegations – and who recently cautioned party members and ministers to avoid making controversial statements and giving the media ‘masala (fodder)’ that turns into uncomfortable headlines.
Clearly, that message is yet to reach Deb, though that might happen later this week the Tripura chief minister meets PM Modi in New Delhi and when the prime minister, reports have said, will deliver a more personal version of the message he has already sent out to BJP leaders.
