It seems like Xiaomi cannot stop themselves from offering new gadgets. The Chinese company already have a strong presence in smartphones and smart TVs, also added items like speakers, WiFi routers, fitness bands , automatic vacuum cleaner and much more. Their latest addition, is a Tread mill. They call it the Walking Pad mini Walk Smart Treadmill.

Xiaomi has a simplistic design for most of their products and the tread mill is no exception. It’s compact, it’s sleek and once done with it’s duty, you can fold it to a size as small as 12.9 cms and happily roll it under the desk or bed. It weighs just 21 kilograms and the dimensions are 1200 x 418 mm. It can support a maximum weight of 90 kilograms.
Walking pad is not laden with buttons, it does most of it’s function through an app, so you need to connect it via your smart phone. Also it comes with a remote. There is a small led screen that gives you basic information.
The walking pad has two modes. You can use the manual mode in which you have to set the speed by yourself or the automatic mode where the walking pad will adjust accordingly to the pace you move. It’s maximum speed goes up to 0.6 kmph.
The body of the walking Pad is made of aluminum and the while the pad is made of high density elastic material. It comes with a price tag of around $270 and Xiaomi will start shipping it from may 31st.
