Movie makers are striving hard to make their movies a bit more ‘real’ and sex scenes are not spared from such attempts. Directors include us simulated, real sex in their films for this heightened sense of realism and here we look at five such movies with real sex scenes.
AntiChrist
This 2009 film starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg had reportedly used body doubles, but the sex scenes are definitely unsimulated. The film was also highly controversial for scenes of vaginal mutilation.
Nymphomaniac
The 2013 film starring Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgård, Shia LaBeouf, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman, and Willem Dafoe (among others) featured unsimulated sex per usual—but there’s a catch. The actors simulated sex, and then body doubles had oral sex, and their genital area was superimposed on the actors.
Love
This 2015 film features a number of unsimulated sex which includes a threesome and an orgy. The movie is about a dysfunctional relationship and a lot of chemistry tests between the actors were done before the film.
Intimacy
This film is about a man who falls in love with the woman he is having casual sex with- but realises later that the woman was married. The sex in the film is real which is quite unusual for a mainstream movie.
Romance X
This film is about a boyfriend who wont have sex with his girlfriend, and the girl has to look somewhere else. It has a lot of unsimulated sex scenes throughout, but you may have trouble finding the original uncensored version of this movie.
