Kaala is just the right film arriving at the right moment for RajniKanth. Making his entry in to politics in real life, Rajni couldn’t have chosen a better time for easaying the role as the protector of the downtrodden, in a slum in Mumbai. But that apart, does the film has enough in it to keep you entertained ? We asked some people who watched it. Listen to what they say.

Kaala doesn’t offer anything new in it’s story. It’s the age old theme, so often seen in Rajni movies. It’s about the poor pitted against the rich and the underdogs struggling for rights. But then like old wine that gets better with time, Thalaivars presence does cover up all the niggles. His energy at this age is quite incredible.

The film is a 50 percent Rajni and 50 percent PA Ranjith film. The combination scenes of Nana Patekar and Rajni are a class apart. The art direction does a great job of recreating the slums. The supporting cast, the action choreography, the music all felt above average.

If you are a Rajni fan, get your tickets now. It has all you need to keep you stay glued to your seats.
