Asaduddin Owaisi throws open challenge to PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah to contest an election from Hyderabad.

“I challenge anyone to fight All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen(AIMIM) from Hyderabad. I challenge PM Modi or Amit Shah to contest a seat from here,” Owaisi said.
The AIMIM chief also challenged Congress and said, “Even if both these parties contest together, they still won’t be able to defeat us.”

Earlier this year, Owaisi dared Modi to hold early general elections — othewise to be held in 2019 — and said people were “ready to teach him and his BJP a lesson”.

“His four-year rule has not given anything except disappointment. The people are also keenly waiting for the elections to teach him and his party a lesson,” Owaisi had told a meeting held to mark the 60th anniversary of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM).

Earlier this week, Owaisi also flayed BJP over passport official ‘humiliating’ inter-faith couple.
