Incredible Cricket Match! A Team Gets Out For 18 and Target Chased in Record Time

Beckenham CC, a cricket team in the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League, were all out in the lowest ever total in the 152 years of the club’s existence. The total was the lowest in the league’s history as well. Beckenham CC lasted 49 minutes on the crease and the opponent chased down the target in just 12 minutes.

Beckenham CC won the toss and opted to bat first on a neutral pitch. The dismal performance have evoked a debacle as Beckenham comprised of players with playing credentials ranging from international through County to County 2nd XI level and Minor Counties.

Beckenham’s innings lasted only for 49 minutes and out of eleven, five failed to get on the scoreboard. Alexander Senn (4), William MacVicar (4), Calum Lennox (4), Johan Malcolm (1), Asad Ali (1) and Junaid Nadir (1) were the only ones to tally single figures.

Chasing 18, Besley notched up the target in 3.3 overs precisely in 12 minutes without losing a wicket. Bexley CC’s Christopher Laas (4) and Aiden Giggs (12) chased down the target without much hassle. With 18 to defend on board, Beckenham conceded 6 extras while bowling.
