Largest indoor amusement park in the world ‘Warner Bros. World’ inaugurated in Abu Dhabi

One of the largest indoor amusement park in the world will open its doors to the public on July 25

Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi  on Monday by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Occupying a space of more than 1.65 million square feet, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi is one of the largest indoor amusement park in the world, developed by Miral Asset Management in partnership with Warner Bros Entertainment at a cost of $1 billion. It will open its doors to the public on July 25. The park contains 29 rides and different family attractions, such as live performances.

Present during the inauguration were Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed inspected park’s numerous features, and were briefed on its six areas that feature different themes, as well as different phases of the project’s planning and construction. The park’s various areas include: Warner Bros Plaza, Metropolis, Gotham City, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock and Dynamic Gulch.

On Twitter, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid described Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi as “a new landmark in our capital, a new destination for our families and an important stop in consolidating the tourism sector of our national economy”.
