England Makes a Strong Comeback into the Test Match. India Going Down?

After putting up a decent performance on the first day of the third test match, India completely lost the plot during the first session of the second day. The session, completely belonged to England, thanks mainly to the Indian seamers who sprayed the ball around. Check the score card.

Earlier, It was all dependant on the last recognised batting pair of Rishabh Pant and R Ashwin to take India to 350 at least, but with a nice cloud cover, Anderson and Broad ensured Indians weren’t getting away. Pant chased a wide one on to his stumps, Ashwin got an inswinger and the tail was just a formality.

India would have hoped it’s bowlers to utilize the same conditions but Shami and Bumrah in their brief appearance sprayed it around. They created a few chances but none were taken. Indians are also guilty of placing the slip fielders too close. English Batsmen looked set and India will need to up their game to come back in the match.
