Hazlewood confident in Australian fast bowlers’ ability to handle any pitch in the final.

India and Australia are set to clash in the ICC World Cup final at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium this Sunday. After the Mumbai semifinal’s late pitch change favoring New Zealand, the upcoming match’s pitch is a key topic.

Reflecting on their win over England in Ahmedabad, pacer Josh Hazlewood mentioned the pitch was good, “without being an absolute flat track.” Expressing confidence, he anticipated a similar track for the final, asserting that Australia’s quicks are well-equipped for any conditions.

Hazlewood acknowledged India’s effective use of three quicks, stating, “We’ve seen them do it, and we know how to bowl in these conditions.” Australia’s quicks aim to capitalize early, crucial against an Indian side that scored 397/4 in the semifinal.

Highlighting the significance of early wickets, Hazlewood emphasized, “It’s huge, and the bigger the game, the more important it becomes.” With a blueprint in mind, Australia looks forward to the final, hoping to execute their plans on Sunday.
