Tragedy struck as a cab, transporting a group of tourists from Leh to Srinagar, met with a fatal accident on Tuesday, resulting in the loss of five lives and leaving three individuals injured, according to officials. The unfortunate incident occurred on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. The tourists, hailing from Kerala, were involved in the mishap, which transpired near the Zojila Pass on account of the driver’s inability to control the vehicle at a snowy and slippery turn.
