Ayodhya: Booking open for ‘aarti’ pass

The Ram Temple Trust in Ayodhya is convening a crucial meeting to make decisions regarding the idol of Lord Ram, which will be placed inside the sanctum sanctorum during the temple’s consecration on January 22. The meeting, set to take place on Thursday, will address various aspects related to the idol, and discussions are expected to guide the preparations for the consecration ceremony. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is currently in Ayodhya to evaluate the arrangements ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the temple town on December 30. Nripendra Misra, the chairman of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Construction Committee, has also arrived in Ayodhya to inspect the progress of construction works.

The meetings will specifically focus on decisions related to the idol of Ram Lalla and the overall preparations for the upcoming consecration ceremony. Additionally, discussions are anticipated regarding the selection of the idol to be used in the temple. Simultaneously, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has initiated the booking process for ‘aarti’ passes, available in both online and offline modes. Devotees can choose from three types of aarti performed throughout the day and book passes accordingly. Due to security reasons, only pass holders, limited to 36 persons for each aarti, will be able to witness the ceremonies.
