A new gin to hit the India markets soon, will please the palete

Gin is usually a dry liquor, which means that it is not very sweet. Gin is also very popular in cocktails – two of the most common of these are the Gin & Tonic (gin mixed with tonic water) and the martini (gin mixed with vermouth, usually with an olive added). Gin is still one of the most popular liquors to this day.

Bringing the fantastic blend of unique savoury and premiumness to the Indian gin segment, Pernod Ricard India on Friday announced the launch of its handcrafted Schwarzwald Dry Gin – Monkey 47 in India.

Produced in the Black Forest region of Germany the premium craft gin is made using 47 botanicals, including acacia flowers, bramble leaves, spruce shoots, chamomile, lingonberries, and more.

Moreover, the aroma of lime, fleshy berries and a woody forest floor give the gin both levity and depth.

Gin is a growing segment in India and has garnered a loyal following.

Delivering an intense flavour, Monkey 47 fills the palate of gin enthusiasts with fun, excitement and quirk.

The brand will be available in high-end craft cocktail bars and hotels in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, Jaipur, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
