IPL 2018: To makes Play-off hopes alive Mumbai takes on Kolkata

The Rohit Sharma-led team will aim to continue their resurgence when they host the Dinesh Karthik-led team. Kolkata Knight Riders opt to field at Wankhede.

As per the reports, MI  23/0 at the end of 3 overs.

MI recorded a thrilling win over KXIP on Friday night in a tie they had to win in order to keep their hopes alive of making it to the playoffs. The victory lifted Mumbai to fifth in the points table but thanks to a spate of reverses over the past few weeks, the Rohit Sharma-led side still have a stiff mountain to climb.

In the last six matches, MI have beaten KKR on all six occasions. Also, Mumbai has a superior record at the Wankhede too, winning 6 while losing just once vs Kolkata.

But his opening partner, West Indian Evin Lewis has disappointed and will need to step up against KKR whose spin trio of Kuldeep Yadav, Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine can be very dangerous.
