In a brutal incident, captured by a CCTV camera in Hubli, Karnataka, two men have allegedly thrashed a restaurant employee with heavy utensils.

According to a Times Now report, the duo accused the hotel staff of providing stale food, and when they were asked for the payment of the same, they began mercilessly beating the waiter. The man started bleeding profusely, after which he was admitted to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Over the last few years, there have been several instances of mob violence and lynching, which have taken place not only in the state but all over the country. From fake messages being spread on WhatsApp to people passing rumours, mob violence has proved to be fatal, as several people have lost their lives.
