Paul Zacharia, a writer who is also a CPI(M) sympathizer, had called PM Narendra Modi a killer and writer O.V.Vijayan as one with sectarian feelings. It seems the Left-leaning writer’s abuses have not gone well with the BJP leader B.Gopalakrishnan.He released an open threat to Zacharia that he would be beaten up if he didn’t revoke his contentious statement. The BJP has also filed a case against the writer at Thrissur West Police station.

During the writer O.V.Vijayan’s birthday ceremony conducted in Thasrak in Palakkad, Paul Zacharia called the veteran writer one with sectarian feelings and also called Indian PM Modi a killer.BJP leader Gopala Krishnan lashed out against the writer’s insolent remarks and warned him that if he didn’t revoke what he said then the former would not hesitate to beat him up. Meanwhile, Zacharia has demanded to the ruling LDF front that it is up to them to provide him security.
